1973 F0RD F100 XLT RANGER WITH EXPLORER PACKAGE

Thought I'd share this For Sale ad for the uniqueness of it being an almost 50 year old one owner truck. I've met this guy and have been in his garage. He makes you take your shoes off, so it's sock feet or nothing.

He worked in the body shop of one of the local Ford dealers for 40 years, and bought this truck brand new in 1973. It's been a few years since I talked to him, but if I recall correctly he only drove the truck for the first 3-4 years he owned it, and then it has been in storage ever since. He used to take it to shows, but it hasn't even been out of his garage now in a decade. He has all of the original paperwork and bill of sale, etc.

16,000 original miles 360 with 3 on the tree. Asking $25,000 CDN (approx $18,000 USD).

Yes, that's gorgeous!  Amazing how much difference there was between a '72, like the one we bought new, and the '73.

But I like the Crown Vic in the back, too.

Can you test drive with shoes?

Does he still have all the original parts?  Looks like a bit of aftermarket bling scattered throughout.  Not even a side mirror either?

This truck deserves to be put back to stock.

It's been a couple years since I was there, but I'm pretty sure the only original parts he does not have are the original wheels. The truck has those west coast style mirrors or whatever they're called...the ones that mount above and below the window? He has them, they are just not installed currently.

Where's the drool emoji? Looks like a '54 Crestline Skyliner and a '56 Crown Victoria. All in black though - must be an oven in the summer!
